It does not have USB interface. Only SD card/Mem card as an interface. If the digital camera accepts compact flash, then it is tedious to download to pc, then to sd card and then to frame...Should have usb interface, so pics can be downloaded directly through pc.

I bought the 7" version of this photo frame and it failed with only 6 months of use. It was easy to set up and seemed to work fine. It then failed unexpectedly after only 6 months of use. Not a good product at all... Any electronic device that fails after running for only 6 months shouldn't even be offered for sale.

Received this frame 12/24/08 as anniversary gift. I bought a 1GB SD card to leave in it and was basically happy although there was a lot of black around most pictures. Now the frame has stopped working completely - it didn't even last 6 months!

What did I do without it!

The picture quality is not up to the standard of today. Yes, it is 9 inches, but the colors are not rich and the image is not as sharp as it others out there today. The remote works fine, but that does not help the picture quality. This one is being returned.

Love the machine and its features, but the 16:9 format leaves too much blank screen (unless you zoom in on the photo) A 4:3 format would better fit most photos and we will probably return this model for the 4:3 format size unit. The remote control is a very nice feature.

I bought this frame for myself first. I liked it and decided to get my mother one with pictures of me and my little brother. She loved it. Now all I need to do is get the one with the speaker in it. I just hope you can cut the sound off when you want to with that one.

This product is not worth the money. The Frame's memory only holds 14 pictures by itself. So you have to keep a SD card in it to put more pictures in it. The pictures only come from the top down. they do not go side to side or from the bottom up. You can not down load from your computer directly to the frame, with a USB cable. You have to buy other things to do this. If you are going to buy a Photo Frame. Spend some extra money and buy a good one.

Love the frame. It is a little odd because it is not your standard shape but it has great picture quality. I have many digital folders with my daughter through the years and I love the memories that I get when I see the various pictures.

The video display is an excellent product. The price of picture electronic displays are twice as much as this unit and their screens are one to three inches smaller. I was very please to see and feel this unit's construction. You will need to by a memory card. The on board memory is very small. Be sure not to buy a memory card of over 2 MB and the card is not labled SDHC. I found the display cannot read cards over 2 MB and those labled SDHC.

My daughter didn't want a big projection screen for a photo-essay on the bride's and groom's early years, so she suggested a photo album, but the slide show mode of our digital picture frame was much better than having all the photos printed. It was also a nice way to include those family members who weren't able to attend the wedding - showing their roles in the early years of the happy pair.

We love being able to view our pictures while friends/family are visiting without going thru albums.
We would like for it to KEEP changes that we make while viewing. I.E. Changing horizontal to vertical for next time...Keep size changes we make. Pictures do not fill space on our 8x10 screen and we have a lot of black space. Is there any way to keep changes that we make so not necessary each time to adjust each picture??

I see some reviews that state it does not have capacity. The manual does state that the frame holds 14 photos. Also if you own a camera with a xd card it may be difficult to load. We had to load pictures into computer, then open into picture viewer, and then re-save on a SD chip. Not sure but I think the frame does not like the format that xd cards get from thier camera (we own a Fuji). Hopefully that can help someone.

Considering the cost of similar products last Christmas ('07), this is a dramatic change.

Others have complained about the odd picture size, or format, and I mildly question it too, but my camera takes 16x9 format (as this product is) so I'll just make that change. Older pictures still look great, they just don't take up the entire width of the display.

this is in wide screen format which looks good but is not standard... if loaded directly from the camera... I end up with about a half inch of black on each side of the picture. I've found that I need to crop my photos to 8inches wide by 4 inches tall to get it to use the entire screen. not too hard to do but it takes time.

You can copy SD JEPGs to internal memory, but capacity is not stated. Resolution is not stated. Average quality. Best if you crop to take advantage of the wide format. Image drops off if viewing from a low angle, OK from side to side or from above. Not bad for the [$]price.
