Comments about GE GE Hard Wire & Wall Mount Switch (Smart Remote+ Compatible):
I want this remote switch so I can control the lights around my pool, from my house. I've had wireless/remote switches in the past at another house and they were awesome for putting a switch anywhere. These aren't working at all. I've notified the company, and supposedly I have a 2nd set on the way ... the verdict is still out!

The switch works as advertised but I was annoyed that the battery was dead and made trouble shooting the installation more complicated. The wall unit is rather fussy about getting the cover plate well centered. The rocker switch binds on the plate if not on dead center. Also the mounting holes for the electrical box cause the unit to fit too tightly against the bottom of the box and make installation a bit difficult. The code adjustment dial feels very flimsy and doesn't click into place clearly.

The lighting in my office is on a three way switch. One switch in the kitchen, one switch in the garage and no switch in my office. There is now and it works great. Installation was a little tricky on a three way system, but now I have a light switch in my office. The only issue I had was that the tiny 12 volt battery that came with the switch was dead. Replaced it and everything was fine
