This is an excelent product. the screen is amazing and theinternet is outstanding for a mobile device. i only wish it had support for flash. also i would recocmend also getting a case to help protect it from scratches and other damage. also the screen gets a few fingerprints. but overall this is the ipod to buy if you dont need alot of memory but want alot of features.

Went into the local RadioShack looking at several different models and options (Apple and others). I have never been a big Apple fan. Staff there was extremely helpful in looking at what I really needed it to do and did a great job directing me to the right product - no hard sell on the highest priced product.
Have been in love with this device since getting it home. Easy to set up and I continue to find more reasons love this device.

the ipod touch is the greatest invention from apple yet! i got mine on black friday, and not gone a day without it, except one day at mission camp, but that is a long story. i like my ipod the most because of the wifi. i bought the jan. update and now check my email from it. this update also comes with a mini word processer, so any kids out there, tell your parents that you can take your ipod in the car and type up your paper that is due in a few days, and have it finished before you get home, if they will let you buy it! that is what i do. well, i usually have about half of it done, and then when i get home i email it to myself and finich the rest. one of my favorite parts about the email, is that it supports word, excel, abobe, and i havent tried but i think it works is, publisher. the music portion is like any ipod, amazing, i espescailly like the cover flow feature. the internet is great to, it is surprisingly fast for 16mb ram. no when you read this do not look down on that number, when you have this little ipod, it does not take a lot to run it. the zoom on the ipod is a life saver! itunes on an ipod is great! what i mean is that you can buy songs of itunes directly from your ipod. this is great. whenever i needed a song for something, and did not have it, i could just download it from itunes on the go! maps is nice to have as well. the only part that does not work on the ipod touch that does not work is the locator feature. but if you know the location that you are at, you can get directions to just about anywhere. youtube is great to, they have teamed up with apple to make a ipod touch/iphone user freindly youtube. another thing i like is the ability to have your own wallpaper. i have gone into powerpoint and put all of my info on a slide and saved it as a picture, then i can save it to my ipod, and then save it as my wallpaper. then only thing that is manditory to gett is a case for your iopd. they scratch all to easily. if you want something that everyone will go wow over, and want something that can further your education, and have everything you could ever ask for, this is the ipod for you. it many cost a little bit more than the 8gb nano, but it is well worth the price. it makes a world of differance, and i am not joking. for example, when i was at school, and had to turn in a paper, and had finished the paper on my desktop at home the night before, i found software where i can control my computer and email it to my teacher. if you have had trouble following anything that i have said, i am sorry. thankyou for reading this far, and putting up with my details.

wow. this is amazing. but it freezes up, and takes long to turn on. like, 20 seconds, actually. i like to watch youtube videos and movies on it because it is pretty clear. but the internet is slow and you can't go on alot of websites because it doesn't have adobe flash player or javascript. and there are no games on it, you need to go online on specific websites to plat games. but other than those, minor things, I LOVE MY iPOD TOUCH!

I've been through alot of iPods and this is by far the best. It's loaded with tons of easy to use features and Wi-Fi. It's interface is extremely smooth and visually enticing. It is expensive but it doubles its value over other mp3 player. Wi-Fi man the thickness of the first generation nano.

This is a great product! I almost didn't buy it, but let me tell you... Apple Inc. has really outdone itself this time! It's like the iPhone bu without the phone! I love this product, and let me tell you that it works great! It runs pretty smoothly and it has great definition.... especially considering it's an iPod! So small yet so great! I love this product! It's a little heavier than most iPods, but it's really worth every single penny! If you are hesitating to buy this item... DON'T!!! It's awesome!!!

I use this at work and at home. The Wi-Fi access is pretty impressive. The quality of music that comes out of the ear buds is actually quite good (surprisingly). I highly recommend a covering of some kind since the chrome backing scratches easy, and finger prints and smudges show easy.

This is going to be one tough iPod to beat. Only a few things could make it better: BlueTooth, allowing the use of 3rd party applications, and the ability to use it as a removable storage device.

THIS IPOD HAS EVERYTHING I NEED. I love the touch screen although its a little fragile. I also use the wifi and Internet alot. The sound and video quality is excelent. The one thing I wasn't so keen about was the price. I would reccomend the 8 GB Version to anyone who is gonna get one. This is plenty of memory for most people. I already have my entire iTunes library plus photos and videos and lots more and I've only used about 2GB. So the bottom line is get this iPod and when you do, save yourself a few bucks and go with the 8 GB over the 16 . [...]

But it cost too much and doesn’t have enough storage capacity.
And it could use the 3 party apps that my iPhone has.

This product is very good. Its superslim so it fits right in my pocket. I can check my email or my myspace. The sound quality is great. I just wish i didnt have to pay the cost of my house for it.

Apple has really hit the sweet spot with this one! Wi-Fi, music, video..This does it all. Though what I'm really excited about is Apple opening the way for third-party developers to make applications for this. Can't wait until Feb., supposedly the SDK will have hit the market and we'll start seeing some really interesting things. (Ipod PDA anyone?)

It is a great buy.I love this ipod. the touch screen is very good and crystal clear. the music and videos come out great. The 8 gb is actully a lot of memory. So its perfect
