the C320 takes forever to aquire GPS signal, locks up and restarts every day, and MIO offers terrible costumer service. I would not recommend this device to anyone.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I use this product everywhere. Found out that the 1 Yr. manufacturer warranty does NOT cover the battery. The battery is only 90 days. Mio wants to charge 100 Dollars to replace the battery. The battery costs 7 bucks if you have a Chinese connection, which i do. So unit wont hold a charge and I have to send unit back for RMA. Decent when it works, but sucks when it doesnt. Sometimes it sends me in circles and its is suuuuuuulllllow to get the satelite.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Wow, guys, it isn't that bad.. The maps that came with the unit aren't 100% up to date, but you can EASILY obtain current maps if you look for them. The maps that I'm using right now are from March or April of 2008 - how much more current do you want?? The map companies, which are completely seperate from the GPS manufacturer, have to map everything themselves. It can take quite a while to get everything down the pipe and into the hands of the manufacturers. Again, that being said, if you cut out the middleman you can get the maps as up to date as they come..
The only complaint I have about the C320 is that the menus aren't quite as straightforward as they could be. Mio included some stuff (MP3 player, for example) that I'm not going to use. This creates some extra clutter that makes the GPS more complicated than it needs to be. Again, though, this guy can be cleaned up with a little bit of effort..
Out of the box, this is a decent GPS in my opinion. By the time the unit is manufacturered, shipped, placed on the shelf and then finally purchased, the maps age a little bit. This is going to happen with TomTom/Garmin/Magellan/etc in the same manner. With a little massaging of the software (which you can't do with the other brands, by the way) you can have a unit tailored to your desires.
If you want a GPS for a novice, I wouldn't recommend Mio. If you're technologically inclined, you can do all sorts of things with this guy.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
The maps are so old that both my neighborhood and my job do not exist even though they have each existed for over 5 years. The map update costs[$] and Mio cannot tell me whether or not my frequent locations have been added. I contacted TeleAtlas, the map creator listed on the Mio 320 and on the map updates, and was told that they do not supply maps for this unit. Overall, I like the simplicity of the unit, but getting answers from customer service is impossible and frustrating.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This will get you from A to B. The MP3 player isn't worth it and is too simplistic even for the most basic needs. It also CANNOT be used with the GPS function. The menus aren't that bad but compared to my Magellan Roadmate they can be annoying to navigate and unnecessarily so. The POI list is okay but could have more; it's fine if you are looking for hotel or restaurant but if you have a specific location in mind don't bet on it. The actual navigation is so-so. Most of the time it puts the address further or closer down the street then it really is but it will get you there. The routes however are not the fastest. They tend to be roundabout and confusing. A bear right sometime means exit and some times means stay in the right lane. It does quickly recalculate, however. At the end of the day you can get a much better GPS for the same money.

sent me off highway on to county roads with a big truck. told me to turn around in a trailer park.
bad, bad, directions.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Piece of junk. Customer service is useless. I bought it new and tried it for months. Maps are flawed and customer service wants you to spend more money to update maps. Why would I spend more money on a flawed product. Buy it only if you want some major headaches. Customer service thinks it's good enough if it just gets you there even though it sends you off route to local roads just to get back on the original highway. It's neither fastest, nor efficient. Nothing good about the Mio. Stick with the others. Major disappointment.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I received the C310x as a Christmas 2006 gift and have since updated the map/pio using Mio's update. I have thus far loved this unit. It has not failed me and I've travelled to various areas from NYC, the Northeast, most of NYS, CT, MA, NJ, PA, OH, W.DC, VA, TN, DE, MD, and it always was on track. I am now looking for a TMC compatible unit and am considering the C720t, since I've tried the Garmin, TomTom, Navigon, and have not been pleased with their performance speed and ease of use when compared with the C310x. I would recomend this unit to anybody looking for a simple to unit with an MP3 player. Oh, by the way, I love the ability for me to change the system's language while also being to select a different voice language, ie, English text/menus with Spanish Voice direction! And the handy strap place holder makes it easy to carry around without the fear it will fall, especially when i use it in the Pedestrian mode. Fabulous! I only wish it would do three things, (1) have Traffic, and (2) Save Routes, and (3) Speak the street names. But other than that, it's a Perfect unit! You can even play your mp3's while being guided on your trip!
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I love the hardware.
The map is at least 3 years old for areas of Florida. I have been told that map udates will cost me more money. I should have bought a TOM TOM.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
There are a lot of roads that are not updated and roads that are no longer there. I don't know how to get this unit updated, but it is needed.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
the unit is decent, The Milo people suck, I've e-mailed them several times for an up date map with no responce what's so ever. I have had it 6 months it came with a 2006 map and I can't get it up dated. So don't buy a Milo product.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I can't find anything wrong with this unit, i uses the gadget, such as finding resturant, my mother have a garmin c550 which could not find poi less than 30 miles away my mio picked it up only using a few letter before it found it, my moms garmin never found it.My family went to a family reunion in Arkansas and the mio digiwalker directed my to the front door of the hotel. I have been looking for faults on this unit and i can honestly say i have not found one. Great unit, i would highly recommend it to anyone.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Advises taking Off Ramps and return to Highway via On Ramps instead of staying on highway. Occasionally the ON Ramp was inaccessible from Off Ramp and had to detour to get to it. Has directed taking alleys if they have a name. When electing fastest, will direct to Interstate miles away when a faster State Highway a few feet away going in the same direction is avaible, regardless of lenght of trip
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I BOUGHT TWO OF THESE UNITS LAST OCTOBER AND WAS TOLD THAT EUROPEAN MAPS WHERE AVAILABLE BY RADIO SHACK, MIO SAID THEY WOULD BE AVAILABLE WITHIN 2 WEEKS, THEY ARENT AVAILABLE YET 1 YR LATER! NOT COOL, I RECOMEND SOMETHING THAT IS ADVERTISED HONESTLY
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I like the design, it is easy enough to use. When I travel, it's "points of interest" help me find resturants easy, but they better be well established places, or you better have the address, since you can't find any map updates for the C320. No updates available are my biggest complaint My next GPS will have software updates available to me.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Does not seem to be up-to-date, cannot find updates on the website. Not very specific when on the highway.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I bought the unit for use with travel but mainly to determine the coordinates of a location. I can manually enter in the correct coordinates. When the unit shows the location it might be 20 miles away. I talked with Mio. They said you have to convert the coordinates manually. The GPS unit should do that. Will not buy Mio again.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Help Desk - is no help
very inaccurate. It sent me to local roads when I should have stayed on highway ... added .5 hour to my trip. Also, should have sent me on non-toll roads because it would have been quicker. It didn't as a result it took longer and cost me $12.45 more in tolls. It's junk!
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This would be a very nice unit if they would just get the accuracy of the map corrected. Another problem is that the time setting in the unit is not retained on power off. The unit needs a setting for day light savings time. The map in rural areas is very inaccurate.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I got my Mio C320 as a Christmas gift and it is one of the best gifts I have ever received. I have used it twice, once to and around Denver and once to and around Minneapolis. It took me there and back and to every place I wanted to go in both cities! I would literally have been lost without it and would have had to resort to using the old fashioned paper maps! Thanks Mio!
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This is a very nice product. Does not always give the best route, but has always gotten me where I need to go. It acquires satellites very quickly and next to never loses signal. The battery life is very short, but since it never leaves the car thats really not a problem.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
We were on vacation and saw signs for a Sonic restaurant that we wanted to go to. We looked it up in the GPS and followed it's directions. We ended up on a country road next to a huge barn and it was telling us we were at our location? I didn't enter the address, the GPS supposedly "knew" where it was at. Then my husband & I were looking around as we were driving through St. Louis and missed the 70 E exit. We began looking for signs as to how to get back on 70 E and saw one pointing left, but the GPS was telling us to turn right. It probably would have taken us back to 70 E, but we wanted the most direct route, not to turn around and go back to where we missed our exit and get back on. We immediatly returned it when we came home, this is just a couple of examples in what seemed like a long aggrivating vacation with this thing.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This GPS is the best thing that ever happen to me, now I'll never get lost again.(smile) You really need to get yourself one. I love the fact that it lets me know at all times where I'm going without getting lost. I AM SO HAPPY AND PLEASED.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
My ONLY complaints about this unit is that it has very short battery life, GPS cannot be used when plugged into a 12v power source, & does not maintain current time when turned off.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Got this to replace a TomTom One that was stolen. We live in Houston, and the directions it gives us to get downtown from Cypress were ridiculous. Set to fastest route, it was taking us through back roads and tollways for what it had calculated to be 1 1/2 hours. We went the highway and got there in 30 mins. Never had this problem with our TomTom. Returning for a TomTom.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I got this for my birthday and so far I like it a lot better than the last one I had, the screen is larger, the maps seem to be about the same and like any new toys it takes a while to learn how to navigate around the menu but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. I did not like the mount that came with it so I just used velcro tape to mount it where I wanted it.. I love it!
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
why is it that mio poi has shopping locations listed 2 to 4 times in the map.another thing when u reach your destination it doesnt tell you if its on your left or on your right.Needs some improvement.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This device works quickly but the routes it chooses are extremely strange. It always sends me through residential streets with many many many curves and stop signs rather than through the arterials (no matter what setting I choose "fast" "shortest" or "economical"). Very strange.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
this is a good buy you just have to use the right settings for yourself

Purchased on sale. Only 4.3 inch screen for under $200 makes it a best buy. Quick and easy to set up, good strong cradle secures it to the windshield, and it can be quickly removed if required.

We recently vacationed in Florida and are very familiar with the Orlando area and know things continually change there. The Mio was great to aid us in manuevering throughout Florida as well. We loved it!
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Great product for the money. Wanted a unit that would do the job but being my first I did not want to spend several hundred dollars. Some directions are off by 1/8 of a mile but it always gets me very close. Some areas need updating. Great on locating restraunts and hotels. Has about every restraunt and hotel already stored in the device. Highly recommend for introductory device.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I purchased this GPS for my Dad as a christmas gift, since the first time he began playing with it, he loved it. It's slim, fits easily in your shirt pocket, easy to use, amazing since my Dad is not used to operate this devices, and one thing we never thought is once we took the wrong way, this little thing recalculated the map. That was the most amazing thing, it was like living the Star Treek TV Show. Since then I always recommend it, instead of the price too, hehe.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
For the money it is above any other. I almost think when I read a negative comment I think it could be written from someone from another company. What is there not to like? Once you figure out the set up, it is pretty easy to understand and use.
Great buy, just bought a second one last week.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
The thing is that this GPS unit may have some deficiencies that other expensive ones dont, but the key is expensive, its inexpensive, has a huge screen, takes you from A to B without any malfunctions, what else do you want.
But if you're passing this one because it doesnt have Text to speech feature, well, dont, you can get text to speech feature on this unit in less than an hour's work. Yes, by yourself, just google "mio c320 TTS" the first page will take you to a forum where there are simple steps to download updates and install them to get TTS on your Mio c320.
I think i dont need to say much about it, its my first GPS and i like it, and i think its going to stay with me for a very long time.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Bought this for [$] a month ago... and I love it. I've added TTS, newer maps, and additional navigation software to it. With some simple hacking, this is as good as the C520, minus the bluetooth and some minor software. My only compliants are that the battery life on this thing is bad, it doesn't come with the power TMC bracket like the European version and the fact that is now on sale for [$]... Too bad the fiancee doesn't think we should have two...
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I like that its slim and u can play mp3 through your car stereo because it don't sound as good otherwise.I recently recommend to my friend and he bouhgt 2 units.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
If you are looking for a basic GPS device this is it. The initial advertisement about what came in the box was misleading. I noticed Radio Shack updated this section. In the box is the receiver, mounting brackets and DC charger. In the instruction manual MIO apologizes for not including the AC charger as initially advetised. Radio Shack will not give you one either. This will be corrected in the future with a class action suit. The maps are 2006 and you will have to purchase a cord to down load the new maps when they are available. The GPS is ready to use right out of the box. If you read the instruction and owners manual the company suggests charging the device for eight (8) hours prior to initial use. When I first used the GPS is was very accurate for local points of interest (POI). However, if you are looking for short cuts this is not the device for you. Contact NASA and get a direct link. The C320 keeps you on the main routes and streets. If you are from out of town this may be the easiest and safest way to go. Keeping in mind the maps are 2006 there were several businesses ommited from the POI section. A phone call ahead of time for the address fixed this short coming. Every address I've typed in new or old was calculated and found by the device. The controls can be challenging. Practice with the GPS before actually going on a trip. Once you get the hang of it operation is easy. The battery life is good. The company advertises four (4) hours I have averaged about 5-6 hours depending on use. I read in one review the writer said the charger drained his car battery within 5 minutes. I have not experienced this yet. The longest charge was eight (8) hours and my car started okay. As said you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a basic device with 2006 maps this is for you. I spoke with the comapny "rep" and was told updated maps for the C320 would be released soon. I'm not holding my breath. Overall this is a good product.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I'm a telecommunications tech. and have to find about 15-20 addresses a day. The mio puts me at the driveway everytime. I rely on it for my job and it hasn't let me down yet. The menus are a little tricky to navigate but with a little practice you can get use to them.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
this unit is way better than any garmin unit.
I now own 2 of these gps systems and wouldnt do without them,1 in the semi and 1 in my car.Mio has never got me lost and 99% of the time ,has found the address that i was going to. this unit gives you a 1-1/2 miles on screen viewing to the next road that you need to turn on. Ive had tom-tom and garmin,Mio has far better mapping the the other 2.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This product is not foolproof. Obviously it will not have new developments, but if you know what is close it will get you there. The verbal directions are easy to follow. If you use a little common sense, this is a great tool.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I received the GPS as a Christmas gift this past year, just to give you an idea of how long I've had it. I've gone thru 2 since that time. I did keep the box and everything so returning was no problem. On the first unit, the sound went out on it. It would not give turn by turn directions via voice anymore. When used as an MP3 player, the speaker in the back didn't work, nor did sound coming thru the head phone jack.
The second unit I had after returning it the first time lasted a week, before the mapping feature wouldn't come on. The MP3 player worked, as well as everything else, except getting into the maps.
When it worked, it was pretty cool. It did give me some off the wall directions and was really bad with giving a direct route, but over all, it was so-so.
I would not recommend the unit. Yes its cheap and has plenty of options, its really not worth the hassle. Save your money and get a better one.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I had been thinking about buying a GPS unit for travel. I did a little research and was considering the TomTom One. I saw the C320 and the price and decided to get it for the larger screen. The clerk said that I only need to turn it on and start using it. I tried that and was a little confused with the operation. Once I read the manual(about 10 mins.) I understood it completely. Some of the roads were out of date in the area where I live, but other makers are out of date as well. I know this from talking to people who owned GPS units and had to ask for directions. I checked the website to see if maps had been updated and they had not. The mount that comes with it is very sturdy. There is no USB cable in the box, but I already have several.
For what I need, I believe that this unit is just right. I am glad I stopped at Radio Shack.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Not totally accurate, but our area is constantly adding new sub-divisions and streets/avenues. Price was excellent,......fun to play with. Like ability to track speed.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
i want my money back as it does not have all the streets in OLYMPIA wA.told to me by mio tech support. i work 3.2 miles from and it takes me thru a subdivision for no reason and out a road that is a dead end.to go to the main road itake two left turns in .3 of a mile and it has me turn left in to the a sub division for no reason.i can not return it because i failed to keep the box.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I use this GPS system on my normal routes that I know all the in's and out's of already on eastern Long Island. I'm still trying to fathom how this unit comes up with the directions it gives. It adds completely unnecessary turns and routes for what should be simple directions.
Other than this, the GPS works pretty well. The menu is fairly simple and there are a decent amount of POI's.
Great directions

I bought this on black friday for half price, it works well there are a few streets in my area that it cant find. Battery life sucks my car battery died because i left the car charger in for 5 minutes while the mio was still attached.

I was looking for a portable GPS to take on my trip to Bakersfield,Ca. Saw this unit in the store on sale. Well after comparing it to the others I bought it. This thing was dead on most of the trip from Reno to Bakersfield.. The auto re-calculation feature works very well. I purposely took a few wrong exits to see what would happen. And this GPS automatically got me back on the right course.
It just needs a small protective case to store it in when not in use.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
The C320 compares well to Magellan 1000 and 2000 models. The product is in a different category from the Garman Street Pilots. I like the size and the operating functions. On the negative side, There are some functions that do not work as stated in the manual. But, the biggest drawback is that technical support for the product is non-existant unless, you sign up for receiving e-mails, promotional material, notices of new products, etc. from various vendors. You have to sign the agreement to accept this before you can even register the product. I chose not to register and to purchase from other sources in the future.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I got this for 1/2 price after thanksgiving. Works great for putting in an address and going there,or points of interest(poi) - where you are. Big screen, multiple displays are great. BUT, very difficult to find alternate route, poi for a places you are not presently in, and other advanced features, its just not user friendly. There are no snow ski resorts in poi. This thing has a 90+ page instruction manual thats only on disc and not printable.

I bought this on black friday for the price and size. The [...]clerk lied to by telling me that it could be updated using an sd card. I e-mailed MIO and they stated that the unit is not updatable at all. The maps are old. Roads that have been built for at least ten years are not in the unit. The battery life sucks. It will last 1-1 1/2 hours at the most. The color is good and the screen size is nice, but I would not buy this again. If someone knows how to update the maps, please let me know.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I have had this receiver for about a week and it's my first one so I don't have much to compare it with. I have found this to be a pretty good reciever. However there are some drawbacks. e.g. You can't play the MP3 player while using the GPS. The modes of "fast" "economical" and "short" are dubious - have found better routs using via points which are shorter and/or faster. There is conflicting information as to whether it is TMC (trafic management channel) compatible. The manual, and unit indicates it is and the website says it's not. The unit does have a pannel for TMC settings. I'm still waiting for an e-mail for clarification. I don't think it's to complacated to use but wish it had text-to-speech.

This is my first GPS unit, and I received it as a Christmas gift. It was very easy to set up, and even easier to use. It sometimes takes a few seconds to acquire a signal when turned on, but I can live with that.
This unit comes with 2006 maps, and it cannot find the addresses of a couple of my friends. To be fair, they live in housing settlements that were constructed just within the last two years. Don't know when updates are coming...later this year, I hope.
When I first mentioned to my fiancee that I wanted a GPS Navigator she questioned why would I need such a thing. Now that she has seen it in action, she wants one for herself!! :-)
All in all, I am loving it.

I have a MIO C320 and its good with me. I have a Harley Davidson Ultra Classic motorcycle and the MIO interfaces with the bike’s stereo via a patch cable and all directions come through the stereo speakers. The big plus here is the MP3 player built into the GPS unit which allows me to play my favorite tunes and thats through the bike’s sound system. This can work, as well, through your car’s sound system by using an aux jack or cassette adapter. If your vehicle has neither, use one of those little FM transmitters. You can get all this stuff at your local Radio Shack.
I have hundreds of Harley dealer locations, as POI, along with around 600 songs stored in one 2GB SD card. I have a SD card for each type of music. The music volume cuts back as the driving directions are given. Also, the MIO C320 has a Dynamic Volume option which increases guidance volume as you go faster. I do go fast.
I could go on and on about this thing but what do I know, I’m 67 years old.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I had pruchased this product on Saturday, 1/12. I returned it the nest day. The nav was ok, smoother than normal scrolling, however when stopped at a light or stop sign, the unit seemed to lose it's heading lock. The map would divert or rotate up to 180 degrees depending on your direction of travel. Not a very good selling point. this happened on TWO separate units. I think it may be a software problem. The second thing I did not like, was the speedometer function when in split screen mode. A compass would have been much better as all vehicles I know have working speedometers.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I agree with most of the reviews I've read. I have a Garmin 2610 (older, bulkier unit) which I replaced with this one, primarily because it is smaller and mounts on my windshield. I've compared them side by side and the directions, accuracy, and features are similar. This unit DOES give some strange directions sometimes(several turns rather than a more direct route), but it will always get you where you want to go. It acquires satellite quickly and holds onto the signal well. Overall, especially for the price, it is a good unit. Yes there are units with better menus, larger icons, graphical interfaces, etc., but if you are an intelligent person and computer literate you will get used to this one and be fine after just a few uses.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Need a soft case for storing the unit when not in use. Love all of the features, no real complaints. I am very impressed with this product!
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This is an in-expensive unit for its size and features offered. This unit comes with 2006 maps though later version are available at an additional cost. Fast connection to satellite. The internal ROM is only 1GB. Updated map files can only be used through SD card( US and Canada 2007 maps together are ~1.8 GB). Text to Speech function doesnot come with the unit. However, after taking backup of the maps in a SD card (or deleting a few to free its ROM "Text to speech" function (~50MB files) can be easily added by downlaoding patch from their MIO Australian website.[...]The voice directions are sometimes very chatty. The routing is dependent upon how well the location is mapped in the first place. Therefore a small degree of error is common for all GPS units.Bottomline- Good value for money.

This is a nice unit. Good size with a nice face size and very nice graphics. It has a nice amount of POIs, although I would like to see some more. The maps are the best part of the unit. Dependable and accurate. I definitely would trust this unit to get me any and everywhere!

THIS IS A GOOD PRODUCT, MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT RURAL ROADS NEED TO BE UPDATED.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
i like the slim black look. it looks almost like a flat screen tv. in fact people mistake it for that often. however, the maps are not accurate at all for this to be new device. all of the features on there do not work as specified in the manual. it needs just a little "umph" to be compared to the big names like garmin and tom tom. For example, this unit does not show the actual signs to the poi as does other gps systems do. simple signs like [...]are represented bya a spoon and a fork. there is not very much detail. also, the number of poi are scarce. there are banks that have been in existance forever and they don't show up but structures that are only 5 - 6yrs old do. that was strange to me. i would buy again for the look if the features and battery life are improved.

Got this for [$] over the holidays. At that price it's hard to beat. Had originally considered a Mio 230 for [$], because it had text-to-speech (speaks street names), but the screen was smaller. Happily, I found that the Mio 320 (a Radio Shack specific model) can be updated using firmware for the 520 (public model equivalent) to add text-to-speech capability. Instructions can be found with a Google search, and doing the update was easy. Used a USB cable from a digital camera (none included with GPS).My one beef is that the maps are a little out of date. Apparently, there are unofficial ways to update those too, but I tried updating just my state and it didn't work for me. Maybe Mio will release official updates soon.

Let's be fair,I got it on sale for [$], and its my first GPS, But I do have to mention a friend of mine bought a [$] Garmin (he wanted Bluetoot)and he is always tellin me he should of just bought the Mio, for the price I got it at it CANT BE BEAT. Never had any issues with the POI's (its not gonna get everything) most of it though. Love the wide screen (so does my friend)I do wish it came with a USB cable or at least a home charger, gotta love Marketing

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
The directions that this provides are terrible. It suggests long, round-about routes; misses turns for efficient routes; gives confusing directions (or no directions) when a highway splits, instead of saying to stay to the left or right; gets lost on main roads. I've used it about 5 or 6 times, and each time it was wrong.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Got the unit for Christmas and it works great for my uses. Surprised to see just how many county roads it has on the maps since I live in the country. It is hard to learn how to navigate but after a few days of using it is better now. Good unit and would recommend it for the sale price. Regular price would be hard to pay for the unit. Would have like to had a PC cable in package to help with loading updated maps.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
everything works great, only down is there is alot of construction in Miami, and there aren't any new updates, other then that I havn't gotten lost yet.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
The Software GUI could have been done better. The unit takes a little while to figure out (I am an EE and use to GUI design). Good platform, but the software needs some fine tuning to make it simpler to operate. Once figured out the unit operates just fine. I would not buy this for my parents.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
manufacturer on-line site claims there are all kinds of accessories available such as an AC adapter and external antennas available at retailer (Radio Shack)
This is not true. Three Radio Shack stores I visited did not have any dedicated accessories for the product they sell.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This is a very nice GPS unit. I got mine on BF from RadioShack at a very good price, and was pleased with the larger 4.3" screen when most others under 300 bucks come with a 3.5" screen. I was able to add Text to Speech with a quick 20 minute upload I found online for free. That alone makes this unit worth the price. I wish it came with more accessories such as a USB cable and a case, but I found that almost no GPS maker provides these with the GPS unit, only at additional costs.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I hooked the unit up in my truck and just to get a feel for the unit routed myself from the store to my house. All was going well until it told me to make a left turn on a road that I knew would dead end into a lake. If I did not know how to get home I would have been asking for directions. I tried another route from my house to a Point of Interest and was routed 15 miles in the wrong direction before being routed to the POI. I would not trust this unit to get me around the block!!!

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Bought this item for my wife for Christmas. A little test drive out of my neighborhood to the main road, usually takes 2 turns. MIO 320 gave me the 7 turn route. Then instead of giving me a right turn onto the ramp to the expressway, it told me to go past the entrance, turn around and come back. In my book it's 2 strikes and you are out. Thank you Radio Shack for taking this piece of garbage back. You would do your customers a favor by taking it off the shelve.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
The product turned on the first time, but then it wouldn't shut down no matter what I did. There is no hard reset to force it to shut down. There is no ac charger unless you buy it separately so the only way to charge it is with the car charger. There is no usb cable unless you buy it separately so you cannot get any downloads. It has significantly less POI than other brands. The only thing going for this is the size of the screen - IF you can get it to work.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I recieved this unit as a gift, the menu's are easy to navigate and setup, but the POI (points of interest) that are preloaded onto the unit by MIO are WAY OFF, I tried going to a couple pre-loaded locations and it didnt know what to do. Horrible updates, horrible maps, horrible unit. You get what you pay for, this is a cheap unit, and it acts the same way. I am going to sell this unit for cheap online and get a real GPS system that has tech. support available for free (MIO charges you to speak w/ customer service) and is not located out of the US. I would love it if it worked, but this unit is trash. BAD PRODUCT.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I own a TomTom 700, and this C320 runs rings around it as far as POI, satellite acquisition time, and graphics.
Some SOUTH END OF A NORTHBOUND HORSE in Ft. Lauderdale broke in the rental car and stole it last week....I hope it malfunctions and burns his car down....
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Easy to use. Great price for a 4.3" screen. You have many POI already there you just need to look for it.
AMAZING SIZE, it has a GREAT Screen size and it is really thin. You can putt in your pocket and take with you when you are walking and need to go somewhere.
You don't need to print paper anymore to get to place that you need.(saving trees)
You save a lot of time and gas. (helping on the globe warning)
Sometimes you got to the destination that you want but the GPS is still a couple feet from it.
The voice only say "turn left or right" does not say the name of the street, but you see the name on the top of the screen.
Does not have a language from Brazil (Portuguese) only from Portugal.
One thing that's need improvement is the device holder for your car. It's too big, the glue does not stick, sake, you have to add additional double face 3M tape for it.
This is a great deal, and it is helping me so much. What I love the most it is the size (thin) YES, I do recommended it .
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Although the menu is not as intuitive, a few practices with user guide are all that was required. The graphics is nice. I particularly like the split screen display with map + turn by turn instructions. However, the voice guidance does not give street names, the pre-loaded POI is lusy (only gives gas stations). Because of this I have to constantly look at the top bar on the screen to read the name of the street to anticipate the next turn. The Mio's web site is very slow (I suspect the server is not in US). Customer service email reply is also very slow (take >1 day, unlike promised). But it is still good value for $. So I would only recommend this to a tech savy person who do not need much technical support.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
For the price there is no equal. This device incorporates all the basic functions (and then some) onto the larger 4.3 screen display to make this device the best bang for the buck GPS on the market today. I purchased this device on BF and have put it through a thorough testing before commenting on the device. Programming routes and finding necessities along a drive were very easy. I haven't encounered any of the problems noted by others (complicated, inaccurate, doesn't display speed, slow). The only negative is the amount of POIs (Point of Interests) stored on the device. I hope the company will incorporate more POIs onto the next map upgrade release. If you're looking for an inexpensive GPS to get you around, I recommend this one by far.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I initially had the GARMIN 200W. A MUCH superior unit but didn't offer ELEVATION. I bought ththe MIO unit because it DOES offer elevation. The WRITTEN LABELS are very small. The MENUS are all over the place and have different meanings. The program is NOT user friendly. Maybe after months of getting used to it.....

The best gps I ever had, you can customize it!!!! make it TTS capable if you get the upgrade!!!!!!! besides it has an mp3 player and you can also get it to PLAY VIDEOS!!! I got it on Black friday and for the little price I got it for, I just had to do a little homework on it, now I have a video player, mp3 player & gps with TTS, all for [$], I would definetly recomend it to someone that is into costumizing electronics
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I have put together 250 new POI locations for my work. It took 4 hours to create the file. About half the addresses were not found due to the out dated maps. Of all the routes I have tried (200) most are wrong, slow or the cross roads have been moved or gone now. Even the main routes, now 3 yrs old near my home are not correct. The cameras on the maps are not in the right locations. There is no speed on the maps so the speeding function does not work. There is no add on for the traffic reports, you need a new holder like the 720. The 12v power is straight so it rubs on the dash. There is very little info on this at Mio-Tech. The site is a poor design and hard to find downloads. I am going to return this unit and get one that supports Traffic and has maps with in 1 yr. I will be looking at the support the company has to offer to keep it up to date.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
My first GPS. Out of the box and navigating in less than 5 minutes. Bought it on Black Friday, and saved big! Only one instance of not taking me directly to the point I had selected and that was my fault. Using POIs to mark location in a new subdivision, and then route back to it using the POI selection (not history) was a snap (after finding the POI list), it got me to within 3 yards of the drive way! Returning from Tulsa OK to FTW Tx, via an alternate route in downtown OK City was easy and the route via worked as advertised.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
The product is a great GPS if you would like to listen to music through your car speakers and GPS at the same time. The music stops and the GPS gives direction and music comes back on after the directions are given. Great for that purpose and also a great overall product.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I got this and the Navigon 2100 on Black Friday and this one is the best, bigger screen and acquires satellite fast. Also you can upgrade to text-to-speech very easily, do a web search and find out where.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Contrary to the beliefs of previous reviewers, this product does not look cheaply made. It is a very impressive gadget. It has much more potential than what comes in the box and is, by far, the best value entry level GPS on the market.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I have used a Garmin Nuvi 360 [$] for nearly a year now and I had liked it. I was hesitant to buy another brand which seemed cheaper. I took a gamble and bought it for [$]on the Black Friday and I was pleasantly surprised. The processor speed, resolution, overall quality is great infact it is faster than the Garmin unit. [...]flyer claimed it had free real-time traffic monitoring but I have not been able to figure it out yet. The URL they show on the unit itself is not working. Other than that, all the other feature are great.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Wow! The price/performance combination for this thing is astounding! (note: [$]purchase price)I just picked it up today, and I'm already impressed enough to review it. My basis for comparison is the built-in GPS on the Lincoln Zephyr (now MKX) that was a company car for about a year. The only significant difference other than interface is the screen size -- but we're talking a portable device for [$]versus an OEM option that costs about [$].Pros:Crystal clear display.Full, wide-screen option.YES, it does text-to-speech (if you're not afraid to hack! I've got it working on my first day)It'll play MP3's (don't really see the point, though)Navigation through the menus is basically clear. You've got to spend time punching through the map screen to discover the shortcuts, but it's pretty intuitive once you've got it figure out.Cons:POI's are difficult to get to. Granted, you shouldn't try it while you're driving, but, you know. You'll want to. Luckily I don't do a whole lot of POI's.Also, sometimes I've added waypoints randomly, which isn't cool. I'm sure it's just me, and I've got to get used to it though.Because it's a Windows CE device, it's incredibly easy to hack -- I even did so from my Macintosh (running Parallels).
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Very accurate most of the time if off will get you within a block. The best thing about this GPS is its POI listing and referencing, doesn't have a very extensive list but you can add and create your own...
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I just bought this product and i have been using it for a few drives. Its very fast at getting directions and its widescreen display is very good. I bought this product because it has many great features with decent battery life. Also, its slim design, its ease of use and a at a very affordable price.

I bought Mio C320 and Tomtom One 3rd Edition from [...] and Mio C220 from [...].Overall of Mio C320 and C220:Great units! Highly recommended! Maps like FINE ARTS with just adequate roads and texts. Easy to use. I can easily set my new routes while I am driving. Two great and very easy to-use features while driving: tap on the screen to overview the big area around you and tap back to normal, and put your finger on the map to move it around. They are very helpful when the traffic slows down and you need to find an alternative route.Compare Mio C320 with C220:Mio C320: Wide screen, means more info on the screen and less chance to tap the wrong spot when you working on the touch screen.Mio C220: The speed of your car is displayed only when you drive freely without setting a route.Overall of Tomtom One 3rd Edition:Not recommended. Maps look awful after you are spoiled with Mio’s fine-arts maps. Difficult to use. You can’t tap on the screen to overview the map and you need to flip a few pages until you can move the map.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I am a tech geek and anything new is hard to understand at first. If your like any guy you try first, then read directions. I am still learning but this thing is great! I got it for half the price of [$] on black friday. Best GPS I have bought.. This is number 2. I spent twice as much on the first one and this one was twice as compact and portable to boot.. A++
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
The mio 310 is more refined and better looking than the 320. The 320 looks very cheaply made, not attractive at all. You would not want it to be displayed in your car. It looks like a pice of junck in my car. You can barely read the screen when is sunny out. It does not have the cokpit icone. The battery doesn't last long at all.
The POI have a bit of improvement
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Very easy to use out of the box and within 5 minutes was using from work POI to home POI. GPS is very accurate with all turns and road names. Turned speed alert on and was disappointed that the speed alert does not seem to do anything, maybe just my area. Would like to be able to change voices from male to female and maybe different temperaments for long trips but one male voice does the job. C320 does not come with USB cable as stated on MIO web site for updating.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Just got it, but the gps is not very accurate which I think it's the most important thing for GPS, when arrive destination, it's not telling you which side, seach my home address is someone else house which I think it's not acceptable, outdated map, POI is pretty good, MP3 is OK and I don’t think it's very important for a GPS.
Manuel in CD, not continent, no AC adapt for charge at home.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I absolutely love this GPS. I bought it on Black Friday this year [...] What a deal, and I love the bigger screen I love the split screen where it tells you your speed and all the details about your trip in real time. I am going to buy several more for gifts for family and maybe another one for another car. I wish I would have bought several more at the black friday morning price sale. OUTSTANDING....
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I used both the Garmin and Tom Tom products in Europe and knew I had to get a GPS when I returned to the states. I did some research before purchasing the Mio and liked the overall design- and, the price couldn't be beat. What I didn't realize is how pleased I'd be with the product; I bought it on my way up north (Upper Peninsula) and within five minutes of taking it out of the box, it was up and running and got us to (and back) our destinations flawlessly!
I like products that are heavy on basics and light on extras, and I'm fairly certain that if the unit holds up, I'll still be using it five years from now.
The only drawbacks to the unit are the short battery life and the fact that you have to remove the car charger (micro USB) from the unit to insert or remove it from the plastic holder that attaches to the suction cup base- something that my Dremel took care of in 20 seconds...
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This is a great 'little' GPS unit, let me start with what I have liked about it:
- The 4.3" screen is great, use it all for the map-view or you could bring out a set of tabs (the splitscreen) that reduces the map-view to something more standard, but gives you all kinds of useful info (speed, current time, estimated time of arrival, distance left, etc) or POIs or the next few steps of your route. This is the one feature I liked best, though its not something MIO emphasizes enough.
- It starts up really quickly, unlike other GPS units I have read about, I have never had to wait for it to acquire a GPS signal
- Its really accurate, it hasnt slipped up yet with finding addresses, but I have only been using it for a week.
- The menu's/software are all easy to use and intuitive. It takes a little while to figure out all the things it can do, but it does have a lot of options and features
- Lots of POIs, well categorized and reasonably extensive. I'm sure its not the biggest POI list out there, but it was more than enough for us.
What I did not like/minor problems:
- Documentation in the box is very poor, just the bare essentials to get you going. But you can get an in-depth pdf manual from their website.
- It did loose its signal and get confused about our position in downtown Pittsburgh, but I'm not sure that wouldnt happen to any other GPS device. The problem seemed to be from loosing the satellite signals due to all the tall buildings around. We just had to use common sense and continue along the correct general direction and wait till it figured things out, it recovered quickly both times and recalculated a route correctly once it had our bearings again.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I bought it as an alternative to Magellan Maestro 3225 cause of more POIs and $50 lower price. However, in testing it out over the Thanksgiving weekend, I had it route to my WI place and a local restaurant in rural SE WI. It didn't find my street name (Senset instead of Sunset LN), had me take turns opposite what the turns should have been. When I later tested these locations out on the Magellen product, they found everything and provided correct directions. I will return this product

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
[...] Overall, I'm very pleased with this unit. It's very customizable right out of the box (windows recognizes it as an external drive when you plug it in), so you can easily change skins, maps, voices, etc. Furthermore, while this unit does not have Text to Speech (TTS) out of the box, it is easily altered to include this[@] I know that many people enjoy this feature and might have been turned off because the C320 didn't include it, so I'm sure they'll be glad to know that it can be included later. The screen is very clear (it shares none of the problems its predecessor the C220 had in terms of visibility). The mp3 player option is nice - also, since the unit is so customizable, it is possible to add a video player if you wish. Of course, all these changes are easily undoable (just save your original files and replace), and they require no firmware changes. The only negatives about this unit are the routing (it's iffy sometimes, requiring me to make sharp turns or u-turns if I miss my main route). Also the POI database is very small (1.5 million POI), but more can be easily added with the software that comes with it. You can also download free POI lists that users contribute.Overall, the ability to customize and the wide screen made me want to get this over the TomTom One. With just as many features as the more expensive Garmin units, I decided to give this a go and I'm very happy I did.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Have only used it coming home from [...] after I bought it which is 24 miles from my house. It did a fine job. It routed a different way home than I wanted to go but rerouted very fast almost instantly. It had my house right on the button and the time I got there was just what it said it would be. The MIO c320 comes in while in the house and does not have to be near a window. First impression is this GPS is better than the Magellan 300 that I had (don't leave them in site when you leave your car as I did once and had it stolen.) Hopefully I will be able to update it for years to come.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
just picked up from [...] during the black friday sale.. great unit. I was a little bumed that the unit did not come with Text to speech directions however after looking online and following a few directions i found out it was possible to add the feature. works great. if you bought one of these and want to add the tts feature do a search. adding ttl to mio c320. its great to have the streets spoken to you instead of just turn left or turn right.

I like the screen size
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
The text is way too small to read. It is difficult to see, even on the dash right in front of you. Controls are difficult to navigate. Map is already two years old and this is supposed to be a "new" product. Map is also inaccurate. I found a restaurant in my town that was still listed even though it has been closed for about 5 years now. About the only good thing that I can say about it was that it was half-priced. Unfortunately even at that I will still be taking it back for a refund.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
First let me say I bought this for 1/2 off on black friday so my rating is based on the [$] that I paid for it.I tested it out to drive to school from home. It acquired satellite quickly and after playing with it for a while, i could figure out how to get it to work. The screen is nice and unlike several other GPS systems i have seen, this type I could see atually caring aroundThis is the second one i purchased, the first one being a Magellin 3something.There are a few drawbacks from using this unit:1. This unit does NOT recognize michigan turnarounds. It says turn LEFT when really I need to turn RIGHT and then turn around. This is annoying to say the least, the other unit recognized this.2. The sound should be louder, I put it up to the highest setting and still realized that in order to hear the directions I had to turn off my radio (unlike the other one that I bought). this is because the speaker is in the rear and when you mount it on your dash the speaker is obstructed. 3. The MP3 player is pretty much useless, you can't use it when you are using the GPS system I am debating returning this and getting the cheaper garmin. I would recommend getting that one if you dont plan on taking this out of your car. Since the other brands are much bulkier, if you plan on using this when not in a car, it might be a good choice. This is especially true since the sound problem can be fixed with earphones (which you will probably use so you wont draw attention). Also you wont have to worry about michigan U-Turns if not in a car!

Had the chance to compare the Garmin c330 and the Mio c320 side by side for a week. Had a duel power outlet in my truck so I hooked them both up at the same time. Garmin was good dont get me wrong, but the Mio was flat out GREAT. Very accurate, reroutes quickly if you miss a turn, so many nice options on this model. Mio is making a great name for itself and you cannot go wrong with this GPS. And i got mine for [$] on black friday. wow
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
With all the choices we have out there for PS systems I decided to purchase the 320. That choice was definitly the riht one as this unit is truely the greatest. Gets you to your destination fast and accurate, and has all that you need for features.I know there is no bluetooth but them again all the people that I know that have bluetooth they dont use it because it does not sound or work properly.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This is my first GPS. I have seen only a couple of friends using gps's in their cars. I bought this and my whole family was waiting inside the car to see what happen. We all unpacked the box, follow the 3 steps instructions, then we have a happy trip. No hussles, no troubles, even for a beginner it does take a minute to figure out what to do.
no problems either in entering the addresses or finding a place of interest. For our trip back i follow different routes and the C320 had no problem to find the new route. all in all a good device for beginners.
The reason why I rated it 4 and no 5 is due to the menus that are a little confuse.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Just got this product. Went for it because of the large screen, slick design and price. Quick right out of the box started working. Pretty accurate. Recalculates routes nicely after taking a wrong turn. Very dissapointed that has NO wall charger and no USB cable. You are supposed to charge for 8 hrs but how? Came only with vehicle charger. Almost ready to return it until my wife found an old USB cable that fits the unit (can be charged connected to a computer via USB). It gave most of the POI but did not find Dunhams sports in my area which is there for almost one year. Ofcourse did not show Borders which opened just 2 months ago. How to update maps? I wish it called out the street names instead of "turn right in 200 yards"

We have purchased these units for our fire department ambulances. Recalculation is easy. Maps are relatively accurate. Great addition to our vehicles, employees love it.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
WOW! This is my 5th GPS unit and by far the best I've owned. An excellent buy (I bought 2!). The voice prompts and easy to read screen are quite sufficient, "Text to Speech" not needed. Data base even had my new street on it (others didn't). Can't comment on battery life, but then it IS an automobile GPS -- plug it in. You won't be sorry with the Mio C320!
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
Database not as accurate as 310x Database. Address that is OK on the 310x cannot be found on the 320 just close. Just needs a update - I hope. But still good for the money if you can find one on sale...
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I had a Megellian Raodmate and it failed quickly and was very expensive to get repaired. I have used this one for several months now and like the screen size and the many features. Some options are hidden like to get it from a 24 hour clock to 12 hour clock you have to go into languages and change it there. Nothing tells you that in the documentation but it just took a little poking around. [...]

I am very happy with this unit. The graphics are so much better than the garmin i had. Very easy to use, but the battery life sucks. Otherwise, i love it. I hope Mio provides updates soon...
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I purchased this device as a gadget to help me with work. So far, so good. The device comes ready to navigate out of the box. Definitly a plus! The only real complaint is in my neck of the woods, the POI's seem just alittle off. Like 3-4 miles in some cases. Also puts Gas stations that don't exist and after research, have never existed. Gee I don't know maybe it tells the future?! Other then that, I would have to say it's a great GPS unit for those in need of one. Hopefully when newer maps come out it will not be hard to update...(Checked website and have yet to find if they will or will not offer these.)

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I used to have a Tom Tom system on my palm. This system is a step up from that system. I like the large screen, it's ease of use. The only draw back I really have about it is that the Traffic update feature on it(which was a big selling point) is not yet active for the 320 yet. I emailed support and they just told me to be looking out for updates in email. But overall I really like this product and will continue to use it. It is bad that there is not text to speech but along with the TMC maybe one day they will be able to add it.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I normally print up maps from Map Quest to go on vacation. I didn't second guess this GPS. I got in the car and drove to Myrtle Beach. It lead me directly to my condo. Loved the POI's to find all of the good restaurants in the area I was visiting.
I love when I stop & get gas & hit recalculate, it takes me from the parking lot back to my route in seconds.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
pretty good price, power cord plugs in bottom of unit, so you cant rest the screen on your dash, cord in the way, also the site says battery life is 4.5,, I got 1.5, also the cd it comes with is worthless, no instruction anywhere about how to update the map, or keep it updated

My first GPS and its the best. Its easy to use an very reliable. This thing is also very accurate and it even has an option to warn you when you are speeding. Perhaps one of the best GPS's for the price.

My first GPS and I used it to travel across the eastern US. It never made an error and was quick to recompute a new route when I had to vary from what was presented.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This is going back. I was told this unit had text to speech. Radio Shack was out of the Magellan 2200t which is what was recommended to me. This unit kept telling me to turn before the correct street. Also it told me to turn where there was no street or towards oncoming traffic. Also, it recommended routes that were not direct. I'm getting a Magellan 2200t which has the same satellite chip and has text to speech. This is important to hear the street name so you don't have to keep looking at the map.

I did a lot of research since this was my first GPS system. It has a lot more than what I thought I was getting for the price. I love the idea of adding your own POI or editing. I am still learning and will surely enjoy it on my next trip out of town.
Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This is a good product, easy to use at a good price, the only thing bad I have to say about it has a 3/32 headphone jack not a standard plug for headphones, you will need an adapter.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
This is my first GPS and I can't see how anyone could go wrong with this unit price vs value.
The display is very crisp, the operation is reasonably intuitive, the route calculation/recalculation is virtually instantaneous (Fast Eddie must be in a tunnel).
Quite good battery life for portability.
Very clean case, the unit looks like a tiny HDTV on the dash.

Comments about Mio Mio DigiWalker C320 GPS Receiver:
I have owned 7 Garmin GPS units beginning with their first model. After seeing favorable reviews and seeing the Mio on sale at [...], I decided to give it a try. I'm sure glad I did. The interface is easy to use while still giving the advanced user the ability to take advantage of non-mainstream features. The Garmin road units have lost features to accomodate a very simplistic interface. The display is crisp and bright. Lots of information is presented without looking clutered. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that you can turn off the split screen when not navigating a route to see the map full screen. Frequent mapping updates are important and I hope that Mio will offer them consistantly.

After I scoured the internet and read tons of reviews and comments, I asked our IT manager what GPS he liked. He introduced me to the Mio C220.
I was impressed but needed a larger LCD screen and settled on the Mio C320 with SiRF satellite aquisition. It works GREAT. Smooth and fast. It pulls in signals in the kitchen!
I'm very pleased and use it in two cars and would buy it again.
