This camera was thrown on the ground and the little plate around the lens came off and the lens tube was crooked and it seemed pretty broken. But, it just seemed to fix its self. I didn't really care that they plate wasn't on. I dropped it many times and it never broke. I bought radioshack brand rechargeable batteries immediately and they worked really well with it. I noticed the low battery life things whenever I used regular batteries, but the rechargable ones were just amazing. It got stolen over the summer and I plan on buying a new one.

When I got this camera for my 14 birthday I was very happy. I have always wanted my own digital camera but the thing about it is.....THE BATTERY LIFE STINKS! You can put brand new batteries in it and 10 pictures later they are dead. I don't even recommend using re-chargeables. They do last a little longer but its not worth it. Overall, I would not recommend buying this camera.

the picture was great. considering the price this is the camera that u looking for. I advice u to use rechargeable battery (at lease 2000mA). For fully charged battery i can take at least 250 photo with flash on.

If you have the patience to wait then this is your camera if youre on the go and want the picture to take little time and no worries about the batteries then this is not your camera!

Don't buy this camera! Sure, it has lots of great features, but you'll never get to use them, or take many pictures, because your camera will spend most of its life dead. You can not get batteries to last in this camera. I LITERALY get about two minuets out of ANY (rechargeable or alkaline) battery, and that's about it. I can't even take a single picture sometimes. If you buy this camera, you will be returning it soon, just save yourself the time.

I absoulutly love this camera!! It works soo good, and the pictures are crystal clear, and it's just good to have around when you have a lot of family! And it was all for a really good price too!!

This is a vry good camera....Yeah the battereys dont last long but you can take your but to walmart,radio shack,and place that sells battereys and buy some rechargeable battereys and make shure u change ur setting to Ni-Hm Battereys if you dont it will eat the batterys slowers like the regular batterys so i edvise u 2 to that...
I Luv mah lil black camera and radio shack keep on selling its a really gud camera thanx for tha camera i luvv it..........

Long lag time, IS pictures are blurier than pictures without, hard to get through menus, owners manual is worthless. Grainy looking pictures. Eats alkaline batteries. Went through two sets just setting the camera up. Save your money. The only good thing about it is it fits in a shirt pocket.

I don't really have any complaints about this camera. It's pretty good...and a good price! Do not listen to these people about the battery life. What you need to do is get rechargable batteries and a battery charger and you will be fine. I was frustrated at first too when I purchased it but when my friend said to get rechargable batteries and a charger the battery life lasted A LOT longer. SO LISTEN TO MEEE!!! And no one else! *smile*

The batteries that come with the camera are a joke, so just go ahead and buy a good rechargeable battery made for digital cameras. It took me two charges to get the rechargeable batteries to last longer than a few minutes. But after that I have had no issues with short battery life. The pictures I get from this camera are phenomenal. I never expected that considering the price. I was also impressed by how sturdy the camera is. I took it horseback riding and it bounced against the saddle for the better part of an hour and the camera wasn't phased at all. A great camera for anyone. The only issue I had with the camera was that there is no 10 second delay on it so I could not take pictures of myself when I went on a solo trip to the mountains.

I enjoy using this camera. This camera is great for having fun and taking pictures of family, being artisitic and just goofing around. It also takes excellent video even though it is a digital camera. The battery life is a problem. You can solve this problem by buying a pack of rechargable batteries and a charger. Then it should work fine for a large part of the day. I reccomend having four batteries so 2 can be in the cam and 2 ready to go in the charger. I reccomend this camera for other beginnners.

Don't pass this camera up just because everyone say's it uses batteries fast. You can purchase 2900 mhr AA rechargable batteries off the internet. I purchased a package of 4..and was able to get about 350 pictures from each set of two. That solved the battery problem !!! Great Camera !!!!

Received this camera as a gift and unfortunately had to return it due to short battery life; used both alkeline and rechargeable batteries and got the same results. I exchanged it for a similar camera, but the problem persisted so I asked for my money back.
