i use it everyday. at home or at work or when going out. this is the best mp3 i've ever had. it play's slot radio with no problems. i've down loaded hundreds of my own songs on it. it's micro sd card compatible...so i can add hundred more songs to it...even movies. the screen is a bit small for movies though, and the device does freeze at times, but so does my i pod. all-in-all this is a great mp3 and i would recommend it to a friend, and to those who do not have internet accses:)

The instructions on how to operate the unit and set up your files and play list have a lot to be desired. However, does not take too long to figure things out. Sansa web site has a support page that is helpful. I would create a play list then could not view on the player. I had to go to my computer and check "show hidden files" and solved my problem. As an option, I have my player hooked up to (self powered) computer speakers in my living room. I had to buy a male to male "jack" from Radio Shack, sound is awesome!!!!

it froze so i took it back.got fixed for about 20 min. then froze again. had fixed again and was taught how tio fix. half an hour later froze again. needed expensive upgrade done. and warranty didnt work. not even the extended warranty i got. none of the money was repaid.

I use it all the time, everywhere. I only had it freeze up on me once and it started to seperate at one point but all I had to do was push it back together and I haven't had any problems since. The sound quality wasn't the greatest but some decent headphones perked it right up.

i use my 8g version everyday for about 4 months, on the way to and from school , and on several 20hr long car rides. it was perfect until right down the middle along the crack, where the mic-hole is, it will begin to seperate, and mine broke. this makes the sound quality poor. i then bought this version, and it is like a basic ipod, but waaay cheaper. 2 thumbs up

I use this product at work and i can listen to the music I like, but I can also listen to the radio. I purchase the sansa fuze 2gb because it was on sale. I also like that I can increase my storage buy purchasing more memory. I also love that I can pause my music. The earplugs are really comfortable and don't hurt my ears like some i've tried previously and the sound is pretty decent. I must say my only disappointed was the instructions where very limited. However, I understand that you can get the instructions from the sansa website (someone told me they were trying to use less paper products). The instructions i'm referring to are the operating features and what each one controls or does. I had to figure these things out by accident. Other than that I highly recommend this product and I'm glad I chose to get a sansa instead of and i-pod.

I bought this after reading the reviews, and wel, I'm disappointed with ANOTHER Sansa product. I went through this with the first Sansa mp3 player I bought. This one wouldn't be recognized by my computer. The first one, I couldn't get to communicate with my computer either. It was recognized by two other computers, but not mine. So I'm guessing, after updating USB drivers, and going through corrupt registry files in the process of trying to get this thing to work, I'm taking it back. I'm guessing, at this point, that it may be a power issue. EVERYTHING else I plug into my UBS ports works. But for some reason, not Sansa stuff. It seemed like a nice unit, but I'm not going to go out and buy a new power supply for my computer when I don't need to. People shouldn't have to go through all this hassle to put music in flash memory on a player. It wouldn't charge either. Could be a firmware issue, but again, I'm not going to go through the hassle. Reciept in hand, it's going back. Expect problems if you buy this. Updating USB drivers, visits to Microsoft's site, and the Sansa site are to be expected, or having to choose what type of device via the Device Manager, etc.

The product is great sleek and simple. A good buy for the price. Though i have had several issues after the 2 month i have had it. It frequently freezes and every tie it urn it off it resets itself to the default setting rather that save my custom settings. On 2 occasions it deleted all the content off of the internal memory.

I am disappointed in the product I bought. I own a Sandisk 2GB Sansa and I wanted to upgrade the memory to the 4GB. The 2GB works with some video downloads not all but it's perfect on battery life. After about 12hrs of constant music use, I would have to recharge. The 4GB works better than the 2GB when it comes to storage and it can hold whole videos perfectly. The battery life is completely horrible. I can get about 8 hours MAX of constant music use. It leads me to believe I must have gotten a defective model because the pluses on the 4GB would be wonderful with the 2GB battery life. That's what the description basically described. I am very disappointed. I didn't get what I thought and what is described. I rather suffer with the 2GB.

This is my second Sandisk MP3 player. I replaced my older smaller player that developed a headphone jack problem after several years of use.

I love the micro sd expansion slot, It makes the capacity almost unlimited.

one of the best features is the recording option from the FM radio. one word of advice, if you want to put your DVD movies on this device you will need to purchase DVD to MPEG4 software.

I use this product when iam at home or on the train. I like the video space and the all out performance. idont like the short battery life it only lasts for some hours and if u do not own a computer you must purchase an adapter which is a big inconvinence because i was given mine as a gift but all in all i give it on a scale from 1-10 an 8.

I use my Fuze on a daily basis. I find it to be a very good product. Battery life is excellent. Video is a litle difficult to load onto the device but other than that it is very easy to use. FM tuner is especially nice. Be aware that when unit is done charging, make sure to unplug it or the unit may be damaged.

I love my Fuze. I use it all the time. It stands up well to everyday use, even to being dropped a couple times. However, I have never tested it while scaling a mountain or while skydiving, so beware.

For a fraction of the cost of an iPod, it has all the same functionality, and then some. It is just as sleek, as compact, and as usable as an iPod, and the quality of the sound is excellent. It even has a sound recorder, which I really like to use to record piano compositions. Although the FM tuner doesn't have good reception, it is an added bonus, nonetheless.

I've noticed two small problems with it. If you leave it to auto shut-off while it's on the FM tuner, it freezes. This is fixed easily by reloading the firmware onto it. Also, there is a bug that makes all the playlists identical to the last playlist you loaded. Now, I'm not sure if that's just my player or if this is generally true for Fuzes. As most mp3 players don't have FM tuners, I don't mind the former; the latter is a minor annoyance.

Despite its flaws, I'm very happy I chose the Fuze. I got a great mp3 player for a great price.

Added a 8 gig sdmicro chip. Can't complaint.

I noticed it doesn't recognize a playlist, except for its own 'top playlist' though.

I had a iriver (4+years old) and the fidelity isn't quite as good, but pretty close. Haven't tried movies yet either.

I use this player for casual listening when I want to hear some tunes or some of the comedy material I've transferred to it.This Sansa Fuze has a lot of capacity to store material and the ability to switch the micro SD cards to play whatever you have recorded on them is a big plus. I have about 1400 songs on my player with a 4gb card in the slot and there's still a good bit of room for more material. The voice recorder is decent although I don't really use it much. The radio, however, is great. It has good sound and picks up stations very well, at least where I live. My only gripe is not with the player but the Sansa Media Converter that you have to obtain in order to transfer photos from the computer to memory on the player. I've tried twice to download this program to my computer using dial-up internet (I know I'm behind the times) but each time either IE or my Zone Alarm Security won't let the program run. I get the prompt that the software is from an "unsigned publisher", somewhat disheartening after a 3 hour download. [...] In the meantime the pictures that I have loaded (Processed through Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI) will have to do until I get broadband and try to get this converter and the firmware updates.I would certainly recommend this player to anyone interested, the ability to record to memory directly from the Windows Media Player 10 or 11 is what swayed me to this brand. You don't have to have the material in MP3 format.

This was Christmas gifts for my three kids and they have used them for a few months, and they have had no problems with them. My children are rough on things, and I want to get them what they wanted without spending a fortune and this was the answer.

You get a wonderful MP3 player for how little you pay. It can do double and triple what iPods can for half the price. FM Tuner, video, pictures, and the expandable MicroSD slot is genius. This way the internal storage of the device really doesn't matter that much.

My only complaints are: You can only sync it with a Windows with Windows Media Player. I use Apple. I have nothing but Mac's lying around and I had to use my boyfriends Windows to put music on. Not a big deal really, just a hassle. The second thing is I want to create personalized play lists in it via Windows Media Player. All my songs are scattered if the band name is spelled differently. For instance, I don't have all of my Tatu songs in one place because it varies from: t.A.T.u, Tatu, TaTu, tATu, so forth. You *can* creat a Go list but my point still stands.

Otherwise, this is definitely worth the money.

This is an excellent MP3 player. I asked for it for Christmas, and I got it. It was so easy to use that on the first day I had music on it. This was my first MP3 player and I didn't even need the instructions. I am young and if I don't need the instructions then anybody should be able to use it without trouble. It has a lot of space for its price, and has a slot for a MicroSD card, to expand your space even more. I bring this with me to school, in the car,and even to bed. I would reccomend that you get an LCD screen protecter or a crystal case though, because it scratches pretty easily. It is ver helpful that there is a sansa help site. It is [@]. If you need any help definately go there. The only other thing that I would like to mention is that occasionally it freezes if it is extremely low on battery to save energy, but this shouldn't be a problem if you ever charge it.

This is my first mp3 player that I've bought for myself. I've bought iPods for my grandchildren. But, never one for myself. I couldn't have bought a better gadget! I love having all of my songs on it and keeping it in my car -- then, I don't have a gazillion CDs all over the place. The should from this thing is amazing. It was easy to put all of my music, videos & pictures on it.....it's just wonderful!!!

This was not one of the best MP3's I have ever had. It's froze so many times I was starting to feel winter chills in the first month I bought it (June). It's video setup does not make sense and caused me to go to great lengths to find the answers I was looking for (the holy grail).

My wife bought this for me for Christmas it is replacing another brand of player that my son took to school and cracked the screen. It is easy to upload songs and I like being able to make my own settings on the E.Q. The only down fall I see is the sleeve on the input jack for the earphones, It pulled down when I tried to remove them form the unit but I just used another pair I have and there it is working fine.

Bought on Black Friday this fuze is worth for someone who does use there player daily and an avile listener. it has plenty of features and does more than the ipod. I recoomend that you buy a protective case beacuse the case of the Fuze scratches easily.

This is small compact, Easy to use Mp3 Player. The 4 GB will hold 1000 songs and you can buy a plug in card for around $25 and put another 1000 songs.
You can drag and drop music from your hard drive to the player, no confusing software to deal with.

Bought this for my ten year old. I was initially very excited because with a rharpsody membership he could get unlimited downloads legally and cheap. However first device froze up irrevocably within 6 months. [...] and we replaced the frozen sansa with a new one. well the second one froze up in just three months. so that one is going back and i will replace it with an Ipod as I have owned an Ipod for three years with no problems at all.

This was actually an upgrade from a Sansa E-200series I owned for a couple years.
What an improvement!! Very sleek, controls are simple, plenty of EQ options, and alot of storage for an inexpensive price. I use mine daily at work, at least 4hrs worth using the built in FM tuner, and the rest of the day listening to music I have loaded in from Rhapsody. And at the end of the day, still have about a quarter green notch of battery life to boot. Go ahead and buy this!!

just turned mine on for the first time after charging the battery (going to work in the process) and my jack is broken i think..the sound skips unless i mess with the headphone connection, with the the headphones they gave me, and even worse with ones of my own...the words 'are you kidding me?' come to mind right about now.

I have no bad things to complain about with this product. It does not get any better than it is. It is so easy to use, so quick to charge, the sound is clear, it is extremely compact and easy to travel with and I would recommend this to anyone who is having problems with their previous mp3 player or who is looking for a simple, easy to use mp3 player. I did not purchase this product from RadioShack, however, but the actual mp3 player is the same. I love the different selection of colors!! They are all really pretty. I have mine in red. I love all the colors it was hard to choose!
