Comments about Wilson Electronics Wilson® Desktop™ Home/Office Cellular/PCS Amplifier:

Recently the cell service in my area declined dramatically. My family had only 4-5 months earlier switched to cell service in leu of a land line. The booster did increase our signal but only on one end of the house. I felt that it was very expensive, but I have been over all very pleased with the device.

Comments about Wilson Electronics Wilson® Desktop™ Home/Office Cellular/PCS Amplifier:

The 1st product burned out when plugged in. The 2nd one works fine. We use it at a farm where reception has been poor in the past. We no longer drop calls, and were able to remove the land line (I'm a physician, so have to be able to answer calls).

Comments about Wilson Electronics Wilson® Desktop™ Home/Office Cellular/PCS Amplifier:

After buying a highly recommended product that didn't work well I found this and wanted to try it out. I am glad since it is working better than I anticipated. The cabling included was only about 35ft long so I bought 100ft of RG6 and separated the units about 85ft from each other above the ceiling tile in our office. I only have 2 spots that fluctuate signal when I had about 80% dead zone prior to the install.
The dual band covers our preferred cell carrier phones and the personal cell phones for many of our employees ... which is a bonus. This product has made me a hero to those who are obsessed with their phone! Very easy to setup and adapt to my needs.

Comments about Wilson Electronics Wilson® Desktop™ Home/Office Cellular/PCS Amplifier:

I needed this unit to get a good enough signal for a Skype use as I run a business from my motor home.

This is a great unit to increase bars on our cell phone and Air card.

I am very satisfied, although I had to install a 50' wire under my unit to get the antenna far enough from the receiver.

Comments about Wilson Electronics Wilson® Desktop™ Home/Office Cellular/PCS Amplifier:

This amp does a good job. I have no signal in my home. After installing it I now have full bars with in 5 feet and useable signal in my livingroom and kitchen. I had to buy more cable to keep it from oscilating. Several of my friends have come by to check it out and are interested in their own.

Comments about Wilson Electronics Wilson® Desktop™ Home/Office Cellular/PCS Amplifier:

this thing ROCKS. In a cement strip mall we went from one half bar/0 bars to 4 or 5 bars on a motorola cell phone. haven't tried it for boosting wi-fi strength. Don't expect it to preform miricals. If you are in a completely dead area or cant get the external antenna outside it may not do anything. all in all the best out there. the price is hi but if you must have cell reception at your house you cant say no to at least trying one out! hint: for best reception stay clearly within 10 feet of the INTERNAL antenna, the closer the better.
