This is well built truck . I was very satisfied with the overall buy . I bought 7.2, 3300MH battery pack for the added punch . With Mattracks it works wonders and with the Chevron thread tires it dazzles

I got this truck for my kids last christmas and the motor went about 3 months ago. About a month after we had it the battery shorted out and the connector melted to one peice. (battery was shot)So i bought a new battery.
8 months after we had it motor went out. The only way to keep it going is to spray WD-40 in the motor every min or so. The lights quit working after about 6 months one was bright on was very dim. The bar lights break off if the truck accidently roll's over .

My little brother got this truck 4 christmas and it goes really fast, about 13mph. Although it did overheat and break I guess or omething. Because everything worked, but it stunk like burnt plastic and would not go forward/reverse. The battery lasts bout 26 minutes ( Igot a 3,300 nimh [...]) We bought a new one and returned the old one but this one overheats as well...anybody know why?

I got the truck for Christmas and by New Years I lost 4 wheel drive. Still had the rear wheels until the next day. Now it just revs up like its in neutral.

It is a superb toy. Very powerful. Combination of this monster truck with 7.2V 3300mAh Ni-MH battery & quick charger both from radioshack is fantastic. It behaves obediently. The double wishbone independent suspension is another plus. Lights though drain the battery, work fine. Overall best value for money.

i recently purcushed this hummer. it's great in mud and snow but the front tires are towed outward to much and at high speeds in reverse losses control and rolls over. i have had this happen everytime while driving. i have broken the top lights do to this. so if looking to buy one keep it slow in reverse.

Do Not Mud Bog!!!!!! Somehow water gets into the motor but doesnt want to come out! Bad idea but it was fun. My ni**o 2wd went through no problem, jus flip it over and run the engine for a while and the ni**o did great after. I dont like that its 4wd but doesnt go through water. idk, like i said bad idea! other than that its a great truck!! would buy again but would not go through wet terrain.

I got this truck for Christmas and it just plows through the snow. The tracks just tear up the snow, nothing can stop it. One bad side you have to cover the motor when going through snow.

yes, nicd batteries last longer. NImh last 5-7 minutes at best. Remeber in beginning the batteries won't last long but in time they will build charge capacity and then drop as they get older. Sounds familiar....hello gray hair....quick charger worth its weight in gold. get these things when they go on sale! [$]was total package with 2 batteries and quick charger per the sales at the time. Hobby shops sell NICD 7.2v.

I bought this Hummer for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! I got a 4500mah battery (which cost me almost as much as the truck and only lasts 30mins) the truck is fast and the lights make it even better. This is a good off-road truck. Now I am ordering one for myself. The range from the controller to the Hummer is great. I just don't like that when you hit something the lights tend to short. It's a store brand so don't except top of the line quality but it's good for the money.

This truck runs through the batteries quick. I would recommend getting the Ultra-fast charger and a second battery. The battery last for about 20 minutes and the ultra fast charger can charge a 3300mAh battery in about 25 minutes.

I bought this truck on 12/24/08. I love the look of this truck. I think that it is well made. The batteries don't last long at all. The mattracks work well, they don't work well on ice. The truck is very well put together. I need to find a better battery and I'd like to install roof lites. this truck is very fast and seems to be very strong.

Salesman told me that it would run for about 1 hour on a charge so I bought one for my son (Battery sold separately and not inexpensive). Well, on the battery that they sold me it runs about 6 minutes and takes several hours to recharge. Wish I had known this before I spent my money on this car. My son wants so much to play with this car but is really disappointed when it only runs for a couple of minutes and then quits. I read on here that there are 3300, 4200, 5000 and 5800 mAh batteries and a speed charger but I can not find them on this site ANYWHERE. Someone please tell me where I can find these other batteries so that he can play with this car like it should be played with.

this is a fast tough hummer, i was jumping speed bumps today and my co-workers were watching and were amazed at the power and speed of this thing, as was i. the only problem is that it has short battery life, i wish i could invent a battery that would do this hummer justice, because just when you start to really put it through it's paces the battery dies !!!!!!!!!!

this thing is great. i got it today and i am impressed by the 4x4 and all the working lights. i actually disconected all the light to save power becouse witha full charge you can only enjoy the ride for about 10 minutes i really love it you wont makea mistake buying this item. im 14 and i have had 26 rc cars and this is my favorite one so far its great parents or kids liike me if your wondering between this and another truck you shuold defenetly get this.

I had it for a year, one day the antenna on the controller broke and then the antenna on the truck broke. When I tried to get the battery out, it broke the battery and the clip.

WORST R/C CAR/TRUCK EVER!!!
lasted 5 minutes after 5 hours of charge!
very very very slow!
does not steer very well.
Just a total waste of money!
If I had bought this as a gift, I'd be embarrassed!

There is alot of radio controlled stuff out there. But this is a high end quality at low end price. Very fast and rugged. I also purchased the yellow Hummmer from last year. Both are a blast.

this truck is very fast with both sets of tires i use the mattracks outside right now since theres like 1 foot of snow and it goes through it like if it were not there its amazing! the only bad part is that you have to buy batteries but its worth it!

The Hummer2 is a interesting truck. I own the Hummer which came out 2-3 years ago. It still runs great. I bought this one for the tires and the headlight. You can buy just the tires though to upgrade the H1. The H2 has better clearence in the snow. Both trucks go in snow. Don't go in sand or water! I get about 20 minutes out of a 3300mAh battery. GET THE SPEED CHARGER! It's well worth it. There are 4200, 5000, and 5800 miliamp batteries meaning they last longer. The H2 Has the same chassis as the H1 but doesn't appear as well put together. It isn't as fast either which disappointed me. Try them out at your local retailer! The lights do drain the battery a LITTLE but there easy to unplug. This Hummer doesn't appear to melt connectors as the other one did. If you take it outside in snow or some liquid unplug it when you get in and it shouldn't short. If it does appear to short unplug the battery and let it dry for 3-4 days. AFTER the warranty you should oil the truck once or twice a year. The proportional steering is great to. The mattracks give you less speed but more torque. If there is anything wrong when you take it out of the box take it back. RadioShack is great about this stuff. God Bless

This truck amaises me never had one quiet like this is a very rugged truck was looking for some thing for my son and found this and it be came mine. It does eat up batteries so if you get one get the 7.2v NI-MH 3300 that they have at radio shack it is actually worth the wait time the Ni-Cd batterie not so good. the only other thing is the top mounted lights my daughter drove it under our truck and broke the light bar so now im trying to find a new one other than that i love this truck it is fun and looks good to.

I bought this truck a couple of weeks ago and I have to say I love it. It is better than my old 2wd Hummer and I love that one too. I love the 4WD and the speed.

I lost a washer when I was changing the tyres to mattracks. It's kinda hard to change them correctly. I had trouble with mine.

Also I think I lost my cover for the battery. I don't remember if it came with one. I just may use duck tape.

I bought this at a higher proce but o well.

I have about 50 RC cars and trucks. They range from hobby grade to cheap junk. This is one of my favorites. It is well built and very durable. The transmitter range is decent with a fresh battery. I disconnected the lights as I usually run it during the day and I felt it was an unnecessary power draw. I use a 5000 mAh NiMH battery and it runs for a long time. With many of the cars and trucks I have, I have a bad tendency to always try to make it go faster, add LED lights etc. Sometimes even interchanging parts, electronics etc, just a bad case of Tim Allen’s “Home Improvement” except with a better and a more controlled success rate. With this Hummer however, I am very satisfied with it right out of the box. It’s a great value and just good clean fun. It is a must have.

well it is the best rc around i bought it and went straight out to the rock hill out side that is like a 50 degree angle and it went right up it like onthing the only tihng i dont like is that the battery only last like 15 to 25 minutes....

This thing is awesome!! im a marine, and we love to beat on our real hummer's. this thing handles abuse and keeps on going. i put a thirty pound weight on it, tied a string to it, and this thing pulls me around on my wheeled chair on pavement. and the 45 degree hill thing is a farce. i stuck screws through the tires, and this thing climbs at least sixty degree hills. it could do more, but it tips over or spins out. hands down, the best vehicle out there for th price.

I am SOOOOOOOO tired of these RCs that cost a hundred AND UP bucks and then you have to turn around and spend another $30-40 for a battery. It's a CON GAME. Kids get excited at the store when they see it - their eyes light up as our bank balances GO DOWN. Truly, I am fed up with being screwed by RC manufacturers.

I bought this rc HUMMER a couple of days ago and it is so cool!!! I collect RC stuff and this is by far the best. The mattracks are slower, but when it is on grass or dirt, it appears that it is on a cushion of air! With the wheels on, it is soooooo fast!!! When driven on gravle it kicks rocks everywhere!! Just today I was turning way too fast on gravel and it went up on two wheels then rolled at a high rate of speed, and it didn't break a light or a mirror, but the front roll bar with the lights came loose but was easily fixed with some glue. Also, I took it out to our pastures VERY steep sledding hills and one in particular called SUICIDE HILL. It is steep and has a drop off. First I went up it and when it starts to spin it will catch on something and keep on going, and when it got to the drop off it almost tipped backwards,:0 but I did some reverse and charged forwards to the right. Then I went down. It would get going fast and barely ever had all four wheels on the ground!! The bad things is that doing any real off roading you get less than 10 mins for 5 hours of charging!!! :( I would like to get the quick charger that can charge the battery in only 1 hour :) My mom was actually impressed at how smooth it was with mattracks and it's speed (and she is not a big fan of RC stuff) and while I was in the pasture my grandma was here and she says it moves and looks like a real hummer (and I agree). And the shocks work good. It's climbing is very, very good. Boy does this have range. It was worth the money! :) ;) :^)

I recently purchased this RC Car for my birthday, and I think that that by far this one is the best RC birthday present on the market. What more can you ask for? This one has everything - working head, tail, and top lights, 4WD, independent suspension, REALLY fast, and looks cool. And, most of all, interchangable wheels and tank caterpillars! It is impossible to not have fun with this great toy

This R/C is quite the car, I have been collecting R/c cars for quite some time and I must say that this is the fastest that I have had. One of my most imprtant things is that this model was 4x4 and it is that. I wish it would have come in an H3 and red so that it matches the life size one I have but it will do. The 4x4 feature in it is quite impressive. When climbing items the tires will spin unitl it catches and once it does of it goes. I havent used the trak tires yet I took them off for the tire speed. I wish the truck would have come with LED lights but I have an easy solution for that. I have a LED head lamp and i'm going to attach it right up under the frame of the truck so that it can be seen from afar and I will add small LED lights to the top as the top fog lights. The top lights will be key ring push button led lights painted black. All that said this is a fun truck so go check it out.
